Analysis

Analysis

Identify the needs of your business and the contributions the Internet offers. Articulate what capabilities your business brings to the development process and how Westover Creative can best work with your company. A detailed document is created that lists all items to be delivered and the associated costs for those services.

Build

Site Design/Build

Many firms break the "site design" and the "build" out into two distinct steps. Internally, we do the same, however, forcing you and your employees into our design and development process is unnecessary. Our entire design and development process is an iterative process. However, because we take the time to learn what you need and want before diving in, we do much of the design and development with minimal interruption.

Site Design NoteNote: It is not at all uncommon to deliver a finished site without any changes to the design. We assign homework to our customers. Typical homework might be "Provide two paragraphs on what makes your company different than your competitor", or, "provide us with a telephone and email directory for your business".

Test

Test/Deploy

Our iterative development process makes testing fast and effective. We ask our customers to run through all of the pages we've created checking everything before we make it "public". It's usually less than an hour of work for our customers to review and approve their site. Once they give it a "go" we publish it to the Internet.

Host

Host/Support/Maintain

Building a site is just the beginning. Westover Creative provides stable, secure and reliable Web hosting ($50/month) for your site. We bank on you making changes to your site and offer maintenance services as well. We keep you informed of changes in the tech space that might benefit you, you keep us informed of changes to your business that should be shared on your site.

Support NoteNote: As part of the $50/month we offer one hour of free maintenance to your site. Changes to the content on your site is the single greatest thing you can do to keep your site relevant, visited, and in the eye of google search indexes.

A Word About Technology

Westover Creative uses a range of technologies to deliver robust solutions. They include, HTML, XHTML, CSS, PHP, Javascript, Flash, MySQL. Our Web Server runs Linux as an OS and Apache as a Web Server. We also provide each Web hosting client with up to 5 email addresses free of charge and offer additional addresses for a nominal charge.

Development Fees

We strive to provide fixed-price quotes for nearly all of the work we perform. There are instances where we charge an hourly rate for the services we provide. Those rates range from $75.00 to $125.00 US per hour.
